nosotros.
Su nombre completo es ESMAIL M. EFFAT ABD EL-AZIM pero firma sus trabajos como
EFFAT.
Nacido en 1948 en El Cairo, capital de Egipto,estudió en la B.A. Academy of Arts de la misma
ciudad.
En la actualidad, es miembro del Sindicato de Periodistas de
Egipto,y Presidente de la Federación de Dibujantes Europeos de Egipto
(FECO).
Sus trabajos son publicados diariamente en el periódico egipcio"Akhbar El Youm
Press".

Teljes nevén Esmail M. Effat Abd El-Azim, de a rajzain egyszeruen csak Effat. 1948-ban született Kairóban, ahol késobb a Muvészeti Akadémiát is elvégezte.
Jelenleg az Egyiptomi Újságírók Szövetségének, az Egyiptomi Szobrász Szövetségnek, az Egyiptomi Karikaturisták Szövetségének és az Angol Karikaturisták Klubjának a tagja, mindemellett a FECO egyiptomi tagozatának az elnöke és levelezo tagja a Wittyworld nemzetközi karikatúra magazinnak. Karikatúrái az 'Akhbar El Youm Press' lapban jelennek meg.
Eddigi kiállításai:
- Goethe Intézet, Kairó, 1978, 1987, 1989, 1990,
- Budapest 1989, 1990,
- Isztambul 1996,
- Egyesült Arab Emirátus 2001.
